Cuzco Weather

Cuzco doesn’t have the standard four seasons which can be expected around the whole year in most countries, here due to the altitude (11,500 ft AMSL) and being fairly close to the amazon jungle temperatures vary.

There is the rain season and dry season which effects the weather and other aspects of their agriculture.

Cuzco’s annual average is from 50°-54° Fahrenheit (10-15°C) but don’t let that fool you, at night temperatures are as far down as 20°F (5°C). On must warm sunny days the temperature is 68°F (20°C)

 

The Rainy Season is from November to late February or March where its warmer at night, precipitation is anywhere from 600 to 1000 mm.

During the Dry Season which is from March to October its warmer during the day for the lack of rain but a lot colder at night.
